The LuLu line was created because I kept finding some amazing accessories and decorations on shopping excursions as a designer and LuLu and I wanted to share them with everyone! The collection is a mix match of everything from the latest trends, to the one of a kinds. I want the collection to be ever changing, keeping your home fresh of new ideas and collectables. . . A protion of all proceeds go to helping rescue centers like the ones that LuLu came from. . .
Love LuLu and me ~
~ ~ ~ ~ `The LuLu story!
LuLu was adopted on January 9th, 2009 from the Jack Russell Rescue Centre. She grew up in an Alabama shelter, where they believe her and her brother were Christmas puppies and became to much to handle so the family dropped them both off at the local shelter. They think her and her brother Elvis were past around shelters for almost a year, until one of the shelters were forced to close their doors leaving the animals with no choice but to be put to sleep. The Toronto Jack Russell Rescue got wind of this situation and swooped in and brought her and Elvis to Toronto where she was placed in a foster home, she stayed there for three weeks with a handful of other dogs, cats, farm animals and a very loving foster mom! That is when I saw her posting on the website and fell in love! I was nervous about the adoption process, only because I didn’t know how long it would take before she truly felt like mine. She was a year old and I was afraid I wouldn’t have the connection as if I was to adopt a puppy. On Jan 9th I saw her for the first time and instantly I was connected to her and knew she was perfect for me and my lifestyle. She has been attached to my hip ever since. My baby girl! And I am happy to announce that her brother was adopted the same week. . .
Lulu has a new best friend - Rescue Jack Russell Rusty! Found wondering the streets this little guy has a new home to call his own and has become another little joy to our lives. Thanks to Mina and Cathy at the Jack Russel Rescue for being great advocates for those who cannot speak, without them we would not have the pleasure of knowing this great dog. xoxo
Yet again LuLu, just doesn't have another best friend but she has a boyfriend! Rescue dog Quinn, is a Golden Retriever Husky mix, so his stunning good looks didn't hurt when these two fell in love at first site! We don't know much about Quinn either, except that he too is from the U.S. and had been living with foster parents for almost a year. Will LuLu be able to keep up with her younger boyfriend . . . as of now all three dogs are doing great and enjoying their new lives togethers!! XOXO
